The Big Man Foundation (BMF) is proud to have JustPlay Sports Solutions partner with us on our mission to serve coaches and their families.

BMF is a charity with a mission to prevent and alleviate hardships for athletic coaches and coaching families. We fulfill our mission by walking along side coaches experiencing unimaginable hardships and serving them in thoughtful, meaningful ways.

Meet Coach Ross Williams

Ross Williams is a former college basketball player who now serves his community as a youth basketball coach. Ross, his wife Danielle, and their children live in Central Virginia. 

Ross, who is in his 30s, was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a lemon. His in-network doctors told him that the tumor was inoperable.

Refusing to concede, the family reached out to BMF. Thanks to our supporters, BMF was able to change the outcome for this family in a variety of ways, including:

  • Assisting the family in receiving out-of-network care. BMF was able to help get Ross into Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. where he underwent a SUCCESSFUL 24+ operation with four different doctors.

  • Providing the family with legal services in preparation of the surgery.

  • Covering multiple months of mortgage payments to allow the family the financial freedom to focus on recovery.
