Clubs for Coaches

A BMF Golf Challenge

Commit to a day in April.
Play as many holes as you can in one day.
Raise money for coaches and their families facing hardship.

What Is It?

This April, supporters take on a simple challenge: play as many holes as possible in one day and raise money for coaches and their families facing hardship.

April carries weight for us. It marks both the passing (April 6) and birthday (April 10) of Coach Jamal Powell—the reason this foundation exists. Our CEO Casey will be completing his round on Coach Jamal Powell’s birthday in his honor.

He wasn’t a great golfer and didn’t pretend to be—but he loved the camaraderie of a round. That’s the spirit behind this challenge.

This challenge runs throughout April—pick your day and commit to it. No registration. No minimums. Just pick a day and go.

How to Support Coaches by Playing Golf

Keep it simple and tailor to your golf game — most people do something like:

per hole played

$1–$5 per hole

per par and/or birdie

$5–$10 per par

$10–$25 per birdie

offer to cap donation

Up to $X amount

offer a flat donation

No mathing... Simple one-time donation

Why It Matters

This is a different kind of way to support BMF.

It’s not just asking for a donation—it’s personal, it’s active, and it brings people together around something simple: a day on the course.

And it adds up quickly...

If just 10 participants each raise ~$200 from 10 people, that’s $20,000 (!)—enough to fund two Jamal Powell Legacy Grants for coaches and their families facing hardship.

Before Your round

Hey! I'm doing the Clubs for Coaches Challenge this month to support the Big Man Foundation, which helps coaches and their families facing hardship.

I'm going to try to play as many holes as i can in one day (cart) and raise money through pledges. My goal is to play [X] holes

Would you consider pledging $1–$5 per hole, a $10 bonus per birdie... or just a flat donation? I'm also happy to 'cap' your pledge at an amount you're comfortable with.

Can I count you in? I'll follow up after my round with the results and a donation link.

After Your Round

Thanks again for supporting my Clubs for Coaches Challenge!

I played [X] holes and made [X] pars and [X] birdies. Your pledge of $[X] per hole comes to $[total].

Here's the link to donate: www.thebigmanfoundation.org/donate

Thank you for supporting coaches and their
families.

Play Your Round. Make It Count.

Fill out our quick participation form so we know you're in.
